Partial Empty Sella in Headache: Causes of raised intracranial pressure

Case report
A 59 year old female presented with a history of 6 weeks of bifrontal headache that radiated down her neck and was worse upon waking and when leaning forward. There were no changes to vision or hearing and nil other focal neurological symptoms but described several weeks of low mood. Management of CVST in polycythemia requires treatment of both the acute clot and the underlying thrombophilia and generally requires haemodilution of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis
